Sugar Cookies

Ingredients Instructions

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 egg yolks (save whites for decorating)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 2 cups flour

  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add egg yolks, vanilla, salt, baking powder, and cream. Mix.
  3. Add flour and mix.
  4. Chill dough for 1 hour.
  5. Oven: 375
  6. Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters.
  7. To decorate, paint egg whites on cookes, then add sprinkles.
  8. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
